I’ve been a massage therapist for more than 20 years, but I’m still endlessly curious about bodies—how they move, adapt, compensate, hold stress, and tell the story of the lives we’ve lived. My background in biology and cultural anthropology has always shaped the way I see this work: a body never exists outside of its context. Your job, hobbies, injuries, routines, stress, relationships, environment, and history all influence how you feel and move through the world. My work blends years of hands-on experience with specialized training in therapeutic massage, TMJ and intraoral work, Thai massage, and Sarga barefoot bodywork. I don’t believe every body needs the same approach—or that massage should simply be something done to you. I want you to understand your body better, feel comfortable asking questions, and be an active part of the work we do together. After two decades, I still think the most interesting question is: What has your body been adapting to? That’s usually where we begin.
Your body is talking. I'm a good listener. I began my massage practice in 2019 and since then, I’ve completed more than 360 hours of Continuing Education. My studies have included Cupping, Myofascial Release, Manual Lymphatic Drainage (Vodder certified), Myoskeletal Alignment Technique and most recently, Visceral Manipulation. While these modalities aren’t necessarily offered as standalone services, they’ve become an important part of how I approach each session. I draw from a variety of techniques and tools, including silicone cups, bamboo tools and hot stones, to create a massage that is thoughtfully tailored to each individual client and what their body needs that day. At the heart of my practice is a nervous system centered approach. My goal is to create an environment where you can feel safe, comfortable and supported. When the nervous system feels safe, the body can do what it does best - adapt, regulate, and heal. When I’m not practicing massage, you’ll usually find me hanging out with my kids, thrifting or helping out with my partner’s lemonade business. I’m so grateful to do work that allows me to connect with people on an individual level, help them feel more at home in their bodies and create a space where they can truly feel seen.
